Rest Easy, AntiHero – Dennis Matson
For a couple years in the 20-teens, it seemed like you couldn’t go anywhere in the online motorcycling community and not stumble across images of Dennis Matson (also known as “AntiHero”) on blogs and forums touring around the US and Europe on his Ducati Panigale.
Sadly, Dennis Matson passed away on November 23, 2022.
Wishing his family and loved ones peace but I know that there are no words for this type of loss. It feels trite and limp even typing it.
Please remember Dennis through his words and photos. He told great stories:

The last time I was in California, I stood on the side of the road in the town of Needles taking some pictures. A freight train rolled along with stacks of Matson containers on board. I snapped a pic and sent him a text: “Been riding around SoCal this week. Saw these going by in Needles and thought maybe it was a sign to say, hello.”
Maybe the next time I see those stacks it will feel like him saying “hello” back.
Dennis was one of the most unique people I’ve ever met. I’m grateful that we were friends.
