I have had a pair of Forma Adventure Trials boots for 3 years. They offer good protection and are as comfortable and easy to walk in as my hiking boots. They are far from waterproof or even water resistant unless I regularly slather them with Snowproof/Waterproof; a messy job. I regularly wear them to ride my /2 BMW, Versys-X, and for Observed Trials competition, and structurally, they are holding up well. I can’t speak to the clown shoes, though. Bob
