Sights from the Road: Dunkle’s Gulf Art Deco Gas Station

Just a stones throw from Bedford, Pa.’s Coffee Pot sits Dunkle’s Gulf station. An art deco jewel, this station was built in 1933 and is still in full operation today.

    1. You know, I thought the same thing?

  1. Good pictures! I’ve stood in traffic trying to get a good shot of the place and it can be a challenge.

And, I swear that red floor jack sits in front of the place 24/7 πŸ™‚

  2. What a great station Fuzz. With so many independent petrol stations closing in the UK because of the supermarkets, I hope the locals look after this one.
It’s a pity that the pumps aren’t the originals, or are they?
