Happy Thanksgiving, Friends

Happy Thanksgiving, Friends

When I look around and take in my life there is much to be thankful for – family, love, good health. With those present, anything is possible.

I bet my family and the local fire department are thankful that I’m not cooking this year.

Wishing You And Yours Much to Be Thankful For

Wishing You And Yours Much to Be Thankful For

much loveThe day we set aside for giving thanks is just a few short hours away. And so I want to give thanks for motorcycles, for you, for the love that comes my way each and every day.

It really is fascinating how the words of someone on the other side of the country or maybe the world affect you. Even if you’ve never met, you formulate some idea of who that person is. After all these years the idea that someone takes the time out of their busy day to leave a comment on a blog, thumb-up a photo or chit-chat via Twitter still makes me feel like a million bucks.

Thank you for all your snark and your wisdom. Thank you for reading.

Wishing you lots of love, laughter and a boatload of pie on Thanksgiving Day. If you’re riding, ride safe.

Reasons to be Thankful? I’ve got ’em in Spades

First and foremost, I am of course thankful for my family, friends and good health. Without these three things nothing else in my life would be possible.

Giving Thanks for Two Wheels

To someone who isn’t immersed in the motorcycle lifestyle, saying that I am thankful for motorcycles might sound ridiculous. But, they have managed to transform my life into something great. Motorcycling has opened up incredible avenues of personal exploration.

I gladly tip my helmet to motorcycles. Without them – I wouldn’t have met my partner in this life, Kenny. Did I ever tell you that the first time we met was on a group motorcycle ride? Of course I was just so ravishingly beautiful, charming and smart – he had to have me. Can you blame him, really?

In other news, Kenny has rued that day ever since. 😆

Just last weekend, I was talking to my friend Nef – who I met because of motorcycles – while grabbing cheesesteaks in Philly. We were discussing what a great equalizer of people motorcycles can be. Your circle of riding friends will transcend age, economic status, race, gender, sexual orientation, geographic borders – and bring you together with a common love of the road. It’s a beautiful thing.

I think that is the thing I am most thankful for when it comes to motorcycles; the people I meet. You, out there. You are the people who share tales from the road of life, who inspire, encourage, who give hope and allow my imagination to wander. Thank you. Thank you, all.

I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving Day with the people you love most.

Sending a hug across the miles,
