Well, I can tell you it’s NOT a Divco, White Horse, Citroen, Grumman, Ford or Metro bread van. Beyond that, I am coming up empty. I am as curious as you are now… 😀
Oh, and not a Morris or a Bedford either, methinks…
she’s a looker, though. nice gams.
Someone on twitter identified it as Metro milk truck. From pics – it looks like that might be right~
I’m clueless about things with four wheels so I can’t help answer your question, but the post reminds me of a head-shaking surprise I had while riding through NYC two decades ago.
It was very early in the morning and as I entered the city, I saw what I swear was a small building moving down the street. Upon closer inspection, it WAS a building but had tiny wheels on it and, somewhere hidden, a motor and a driver. I’m guessing it was a portable building of some kind that could be driven (at 10 mph) to temporary locations. One of the oddest sights I’ve ever spied.
Not sure about it being a Metro…the windows don’t look right. I know someone that has one of those things, believe it or not, LOL
Maybe he’d know…I’ll show him your picture, he’s not much for using the innernets…
