While heading off on a recent road trip, I spotted this Thomas’ English Muffin Truck on the highway: “Start your day happy.” Okay, Mr. Muffin,  I will!

I’m usually in a happy mood when we set off somewhere but seeing this truck gave me a little extra boost. How can you not smile when you see those nooks and crannies grinning at you?

Art Car: Pakistani Decorated 1976 Bedford Truck

This beautifully decorated 1976 Bedford truck is part of the Smithsonian’s permanent collection. It was originally painted in 2002 during the Smithsonian Folklife Festival. The painting theme is the Silk Road.

We were fortunate enough to see it parked on the National Mall in the summer of 2006. Just awesome~
