Prologue
Well, my bike is all packed up, I’ve got my dance partner (Jorge Pepperenzo) and I’m as ready as I’ll ever be. I shove off for West Virginia, the rally starting location, tomorrow marking at 0’dark-thirty. I’ve got to get myself around any of the holiday traffic that may conspire against me with a mass exodus from the NY Metro area.
I think my route stinks, is low on points and feels… eh. But, I’m not chancey when it comes to trying to throw down big miles. I just don’t have it in me. So I’ll go with what I know: Plan my ride, ride my plan. Ride safe, have fun. Same goals, different rally.
As an interesting side note, when we received our bonus location file I just happened to notice that if I draw a route around the edge…
Though it isn’t my actual route, I hope it’s a sign of good things to come.
