Photo: Hey, It’s Me and Some Hole in the Ground
Like everyone else who’s been there, I have a mountain of photos which I’d snapped during my visit to the Grand Canyon.
The struggle with sharing those pictures is that the canyon is so overwhelmingly tremendous that a mere pic from my iPhone cannot convey that grandeur. They fall flat.
Hell, when you’re standing there staring out into what’s splayed out before you it barely feels real. Its like your eyes are unable to take in and process the magnitude and depth of what’s there. The details become a watercolor painting that stretches miles deep. Amazing.
