Virginia: Enjoy a Little I-81 Love
When I was doing a lot of traveling back and forth between Tennessee and New York, the drive along I-81 in Virginia was the longest stretch in a single state. I felt every single mile of it. Crossing the state borders did have bright spots, however. The northern and southern-most Virginia Welcome Centers each have a LOVEWork on the grounds.
So, if you’re looking for a little roadside Americana oasis while pounding out the highway miles, take a rest and a snap a photo. After all, who doesn’t need a little LOVE in their life?
