Incredible Pokemon Mural – Huntington, New York

Where on Long Island is the Pokemon Wall?
You can find the Pokemon Wall painted by Andaluz the Artist in the town of Huntington at: 231 Broadway, Huntington, NY 11743
On Wednesday night, the weather was absolutely perfect for riding. I met up with Brian and we rode our fraternal twinsie FZ07’s out to the town of Huntington, here on Long Island. I wanted to finally see the Pokemon wall mural that is painted on the side of a building in the Greenlawn area.

Unfortunately, we didn’t make it before the sun went down so we weren’t able to see everything in its vibrant, full-color glory. It was also a challenge to snap photos of the whole piece in the dark with the floodlight on the side of the building shining so brightly.
But, making lemonade out of lemons ~ the dark of night provided its own sense of drama.
And now that I know where the Pokemon wall mural is, swinging by in the daylight will be easy-peasy. I’m definitely going to do that!

The mural is so packed with characters to look at! It provided a wonderfully dramatic photo backdrop for our wee FZs.
The Pokemon Wall
The wall mural was painted in 2016 at the height of the Pokemon Go craze by local artist Andaluz the Artist. You can see his work all over the island, and especially around the town of Huntington.

Pretty cool, right?!
I think this piece is definitely one of Long Island’s great roadside attractions.

You rode to Huntington?! *sigh* Glad you enjoyed the mural. We have several including some old ones.
Yes, I pass through in the evenings sometimes when i need to get out and get some air.
I have seen a couple that I want to grab snaps of but they’ve had cars in front of them or it’s been too dark. There is always something to do and something to see 🙂
Yes, very cool!
Brings a smile to my face and many happy memories of the times. Thanks for sharing.
