Tan Lines and Consequences

Everything we do has consequence. Even the most minute action or inaction, as it were. Close yourself off and you don’t enjoy the sunshine. Open yourself up and you get burned. We often don’t realize the impact of the things we’ve done until after the fact. Choices are repercussion grenades.

Be good to each other.

So true! One of my favorite consequences is after wearing nail-polish on my fingers during the weekend, there’s always a ring of residue left around my cuticles — which is not noticeable unless you look closely; during the work-week, it gives my fingers a faint hint of pink girlie-ness.
