Ask Me Anything: The Unanswerable Question
Michael asks:
“When you’re riding your motorcycle, and it’s just you and the open road….what is the one question that you don’t have an answer to?”
Have a burning question? Ask me anything.

Dang – you are like my “wandering soul searcher”. I think about my “purpose” a lot! And I’m trying to understand if being here right now is my purpose. Just doesn’t feel like it though… Keep on searching!
Well, even if we never find an answer – at least there is value in the seeking, the questioning and the need to understand. We’ve got that going for us!

You’re in good company, my Fuzzy friend.
In my imaginary version of you – I imagine this is a path you walk quite often. <3
Perhaps Fuzzy you have more than only one purpose? I suspect one of them you are already doing: Sharing of yourself, your travels and your thoughts with the many who follow you. Do you make people smile? Happy? Do you encourage them?
I suspect many of us struggle with the same “what is my purpose” question. I wish you safe rides and perhaps that “aha!” moment when it dawns on you.
I wish i knew, Mike.
Sometimes it seems like my life serves as a cautionary tale for others. That has to count for something, right? 😉
I think many of who wander these same pathways understand exactly how you feel. I’ve been asking the same questions for as long as I can remember…and I still don’t have the answer.
You are so not alone! I have struggled with this same question my whole adult life. And that is after the formative years of what am I going to do with my life in the first place! And no, none of it came out the way I thought it would. But that’s ok!
You share your unique view of the world, in words and pictures, with a whole host of other humans, just like those great artists you mentioned. And you make us think, and look at the other perspective. I think that is a great service to the world. 🙂
Good answer! At our core, I think we all wonder the exact same thing. What is our purpose….What are we supposed to do with our 80 or so orbits of the sun. Maybe one day we wake up and realize that we’ve been doing it all along.
