Riding the Titan Quest 24-Hour Rally
During the weekend of August 8-9, 2015 I rode in the inaugural Hammy’s Experimental Rallies 24-Hour Titan Quest. A flag and bonus photo rally that highlighted Muffler Men, Giant Chickens and Whispering Giants. You can read about it here:

Sounds like a great way to spend a weekend!
It was, Tracy! 😀
Hope you’re happily adjusting to back-home life.
Though the hula girl trophy might be a “major award”…
And I tell ya’, if she could be affixed to a top case so that she’d sway and shake without taking flight, well–hubba-hubba–I’d be watching my mirror the whole time. But I digress.
Though the hula girl trophy might be a “major award”, it sounds like the real prize was your “moment” on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. Too rare are such existential ahas, and always invaluable. Well done, Fuzz.
Thanks, Ry 🙂
I think you’re right. I wish i did a better job of articulating what I felt on the bridge. What i’ve doesn’t really come close. There are just some unexplainable moments that you experience out there in the world – they’re bigger and deeper than my measly words can handle.
Oy… And ain’t that too often the case? If it isn’t that words are inadequate tools, it’s that the experience defies description.
I loved reading this post! (A few times actually) It really helped me view things from a different perspective. Sometimes I have to remind myself it’s the journey, not the destination.
And only you can go from being keenly aware of fragile humanness to wearing the wrong underwear. Lol!!! 🙂
