Re-Tread: Weekly Wrap-Up December 14

Stuff that happened during the week of December 8-14, 2014

What’s Goin’ On

We’re in he home stretch for Christmas, can you believe it? Things around here are pretty low key on the holiday front, though. Thankfully we’re blessed in not needing anything so that takes the pressure off of any holiday shopping. Our Christmas tree is up and the house is smelling deliciously piney.

Are you hoping Santa will be bringing you something special this year?

This weekend I connected with a kindred spirit, Rosie. She took a leap of faith and sent in her address to receive a postcard when I was traveling this fall and we struck up a friendship over the last couple months. Meeting her in person was just awesome – another sister from the road. You know how it is when you feel like you could just talk to someone for hours? Yeah, that’s Rosie for me. I’m so glad we met 🙂

If this silly blog does nothing else, it opens up a pathway for me to meet beautiful souls out there in the world. Thank you for caring enough to read these posts.

This weekend was the bike show here in NYC. During the coming week I’ll probably be posting some stuff about that. And, our annual Santa ride took flight today. Some more posts will be filtering in on that as well.

Hope you had an excellent weekend, friends!

I’m a chronic tweeter. When I have idle time like being a passenger in a car or when I’m in slug-mode, Twitter is my go to fix for idle chatter. The amount of funny, interesting or beautiful things that zip through my timeline each day is pretty amazing.

Hi R! Thank you for the thoughtful words (wiping tear in eye), it was great meeting you and Kenny! Thanks for taking the time and chance to meet me, I could’ve been some crazy maniac 😉
I’ve always admired the “you” I’ve read about in your blog, but you’re even more awesome in person 🙂
