The Klim Altitude Jacket Has Landed!

It’s here! It’s finally here!

I’ve been waiting all week for my Klim Altitude jacket to show up. It finally arrived on Thursday after what felt like an eternity.

First impressions of it have left me with stars in my eyes. The fit and finish is wonderful but I think it takes weeks and months to know whether or not you love a riding garment.

Does this jacket make me look waterproof?

It is at this point in our program where everyone can thank me for buying waterproof gear. We will be experiencing a drought from here on 😀

You’re welcome!

I’ve got a pressure hose in the garage. Come over and we’ll put that jacket to the test. Stand by the wall now…

Oh, and the jacket looks sharp.

I bought the Klim Misano Latitude for my cross country trek. Took about 4 seconds for the rain to start day one and I was dry as a bone inside…between Seattle and Portland, that is saying something.

For the rest of the trip, the predominant weather phenomenon was high winds…unfortunately, the Klim folks didn’t include an anti wind suck system. Rain though, they have that handled.

In other news, I think the HiViz thing works. I parted traffic like the red seas on the west coast at least…clearly the see the PoPo in the mirror when I am rocking that jacket.

Haha! Hopefully the ‘Fuzzy Rain Shadow Effect’ reaches all the way up here into Canada. Can you please buy cold weather gear next so that our riding season gets extended a bit? The jacket looks great! 🙂

That is a nice looking jacket. Will have to check them out.

It’s true that riding gear takes multiple wearings before it feels right (or not). This is a smart choice and it looks good on you. Now… perhaps a scarf in radiant orchid with a little jewelry (but not too much) and a pair of strappy sandals will complete the look! 🙂

To counteract this bad mojo, we all (including you, Fuzzy) must now immediately wash all of our vehicles. Maybe then the rains will return to all the lands.

    Congrats on the new threads.

  7. Crudmop says:

We all need to buy a new motorcycle. That’ll bring the rains back.

    • Raindog says:

Oooo, a mighty fine idea, Crudmop, but hows about this:

Since it is none other than Fuzzy who has brought this horrible, horrible drought upon us, it is none other than Fuzzy who should buy a new motorbike for each of us. You know, to appease the gods she has angered and to secure our continued loyalty to Her Holy Blogness…

Place your orders now, folks. 😀

  8. Better get some “cred” on that kit ASAP. :^)

    • Fuzzy says:

I think you’re right. I’ll ask my husband if I’m allowed to go out riding this weekend.

      Hahahahahahaaaaaaa!

That is if I don’t die laughing after typing that out loud 😉

  9. Pam says:

Oh my! I can send rain if you’d like 🙂 We are getting into record setting levels. Not being able to ride makes it a little easier.
