Knobby Motorcycle Tire Ring

Last summer my husband Kenny lost his wedding ring during a dirt ride. He’s never made much of an effort to replace it – which is fine by me – since he isn’t a fan of jewelry. But just last night while flipping through the Aerostich catalog, I spotted these:

That knobby tire ring is kinda cute. Given the circumstances of the loss of his original ring it might make a suitable replacement if he ever decides to get another ring.

I know several people who opt to not wear any rings because of the nature of their jobs. Kenny and I have both lost rings riding. I lost mine while taking my motorcycle gloves off. How about you, do you wear any jewelry while riding?

No, I don’t wear jewelry while riding but I saw this ring (the street one) years ago and contemplated buying it several times. I find the design very cool.

I must admit to worrying about losing jewellery and thought I did, but found it – phew! I like to feel ultra girly on my bike so you may find me out there wearing pearls on occasion. I like the rings I think they are cute, I really like the Kinneckt ring that was on the Motoress website it had moving gears.

Cool, like the knobbly one, I do wear my wedding ring when riding, in fact I never take it off, never had a problem with it coming off..

I didn’t really lose it while riding – at the Quarry Run dual sport event up @ Hancock I was taking a dip in the river to wash off after the day’s ride and the ring must’ve slipped off in the water. I was rather bummed to say the least.

Those rings are really cool. I think any guy would like it. 😉
As far as rings, I wear a wedding band, but not my diamond! But hey, I am a jewelry type person…Now my husband, he wears his some times and then again sometimes he doesn’t . I think its a guy thing. 🙂

I wear my wedding band non-stop but I’ve already lost it once just from walking around. luckily for me my husband can whip them up in the basement – they’re super simple silver bands – and he fessed up to making the first one a 1/2 size too large (I was set up for failure!).

I’m always REALLY nervous about earrings when I’m riding, and most of my jewelry is earrings, so I’m constantly pulling them out of my momo jacket pocket (not a safe place either…)
