The Motorcycle Key to My Success

The Motorcycle Key to My Success

Why is it that when I am riding my motorcycle – everything, all of my hopes and dreams, the direction I want to go in my life – those things are all crystal clear? When I’m riding my bike I’m a genius. No, make that a SUPER genius. A super genius with finely polished nails and skin that glimmers with pixie dust.  And when I smile? You actually hear the sound of a bell go *ting*.

Then I turn the key off and poof I’m a listless idiot sans sparkle again. Zero. Point. Zero.

I think I just need to keep on riding. And riding. And riding…

  1. I experience the exact same thing! I am brilliant going down the highway or riding my bicycle. Put me behind the computer on a routine day, and all I want to do is head for the refrigerator, or take care of some meanial task! –Brent

  2. That’s why we continue to ride Fuzzy, in the hope that some day evolution will allow us to be awesome off the bike as well I agree with shybiker, that’s a great photo. Have an awesome day.

  3. I’m in the same boat, I feel awkward sometimes just walking around. Thinking am I even walking in a straight line right now? Probably not! But when you put me on a motorcycle all of a sudden i’m the real Green Lantern out to save the day nailing every apex and doing awesome things. Great description of what a motorcycle does to people!

      1. Nope. I have my riding head crystal clear and the rest of my life a little fuzzy around the edges. It’s a coping mechanism I’ve developed.
