Jamaica ,Vermont

Every time we pass this store I end up singing the song Jamaica Inn by Tori Amos for the next 10 miles.

We stopped in for a quick cup of coffee and a bite of delicious crumb, coffee cake. The lady at the store let me use her secret bathroom too, Bless her! The state of clean available restrooms for the public to use is just about at a crisis level.

You know, some people act like animals and are effectively ruining it for the rest of the general population. Its no wonder so many places have signs up – NO PUBLIC RESTROOM. Be a sweetie, wipe the seatie. I know your mamas must’ve taught you right.

There is a nice hippie-style coffee shop there. They’ve got art and lots of books everywhere, along with free wifi. You had to have seen it. They have GREAT coffee. If you swing by there on your way back, stop and get it. The missus and I always get a cup on our way back from Stratton.
