Rainy Day Lazy Late Start

Yesterday when I checked the weather forecast it said 100% chance of rain in the early hours of the morning. Looks like they were right. There is rain and thunderstorms in every direction.

I think I’m going to just hang around and take a late start today to limit my time in the wet.

Last night I grabbed a hotel in the town of Huntington, West Virginia. I’ve passed though this here a couple times. Some places are funny like that. You have no real reason to ever be there but they are like a conduit to something else.

So, while I have some time to kill before heading out into the rain, I thought I’d sort through and maybe post some pictures. And of course, figure out where the hell I’m going when I leave here.

I wasn’t sure I’d be able to deal with posting from my phone only but so far things are working out alright. In a funny way it’s more like posting to Instagram and not a blog, which makes things easier for some reason. I guess I have preconceived ideas of how a blog “should” be.

I’ve actually had to resist the urge to post several times a day, figuring it’d be annoying for readers. But, maybe not. ::shrug:: I s’pose I oughta be able to do whatever I want with my own blog 🙂

Looks like you’re having a fun road trip. I hope the rain does not dampen it much! If you are coming through Lexington, please let me know

Rain sometimes gives us pause for coffee, contemplation, before the wheels roll. Not such a bad thing.
    Nevertheless, take care out there.

You post, I read. Feed me.

Yes, it’s YOUR blog! Exercise your freedom; you’ll be surprised how much of it you have. Safe riding.

Agree with @Ted. I use Feedly to gather up all the blog feeds that I can, that I find interesting. (I tend to avoid moto racing, though.) Everytime I decide to stop working for a minute, I flip over to my Gmail and Feedly. I get just a little excited inside when there’s another post to ready! Just counted, and I have 65 blogs in my “Motorcycle” category.

  6. Your posts of late are great — imagery and text. Not sure if the ease of posting with the iPhone is the difference or just being on the road. Either way, thanks.

I’ll have to look at posting by phone. I’m wound up so tight with how I do things that it’s become increasingly difficult to post. I’m using the Gutenberg editor now in WordPress and it is a lot simpler. But because I only post on the computer things just seem overly fussy.

Stay dry. Raining here today. Ugh.
