Assorted December Ride Photos

Sometimes the words escape me. But I have a bunch of photos burning a hole in my pocket so, you know what? I’m just going to post a few randos. ::shrug:: 🙂

Put your butt here. Do it.

Of course if you all put your butts here at once, things could get a little complicated and perhaps a little unsanitary. Perhaps we can work out some sort of number-taking system, or those restaurant pager thingys, maybe even a butt-puting lottery.

Or… you could just put your butt on your screen and virtually put your butt here from the comfort of your own home. Besides, that signs looks a little splintery. And damp. Nobody likes damp splinters in their butt. Nobody.

This is my 690.

Have you already grown tired of seeing pictures of it? I’m afraid that’s too bad because it gives me a raging lady-boner and you’re going to be inundated by photos of it forever and ever and ever. It was absolutely one of the best decisions that I made in all of 2015.

That seems strange, even to me. A couple of weeks ago on a drive back from the Pine Barrens in New Jersey, Kenny and I were talking about it. He was curious how we’d been getting along off road. By all estimations, given its size and power, the assumption would (should?) have been that I would feel scared of it or that it would feel like rastlin’ a bear or something. But it doesn’t. It feels so right to me. Something about it just makes sense. I confess – I drank the KTM Kool-Aid big time. I’m only sorry that I waited so long. But I suppose things come around when you’re ready to handle them.

This is just an important bit of instruction.

Um… No idea. I just happened to ride by it in Connecticut. 🙂

December was unseasonably warm. The day after Christmas I bummed around for a couple hundred miles looking for dirt roads and stringing together some bits of tracks I downloaded. Being able to see places that you can’t from a paved road has a special place in my heart.

A little paint, some shingles… it’ll be as good as new.

Amber waves.

Love life.

“Put your butt here.” What, right next to the creepy, handless glove that clearly just wants to play grab-ass? Umm, I don’t think so.

      😆 You sure?
I feel like when that glove gives your booty a squeeze it would sound like ::honk, honk:: That seems kinda fun. Doesn’t it? No? Okay, switching to decaf…

Nice photos! And no complaints from me if they include the KTM. Or anything else that catches your eye…

    Great pics.

“…raging lady boner…” – love it! KTM should use that in their marketing 😉

Your photos are always so nice to look at because not only are they interesting but they’re well-taken. Polished and attractive from a technical point-of-view.

I just found your blog and absolutely love your pictures. As Shybiker said, thy are well-taken. I ride a touring bike but love 2 lane, country roads and enjoy looking back at my own pictures because there are great memories with every one. Thanks so much for sharing your pics.
