Southern Trip Stats – Y’all Come Back Now, Hear?

Morning misty heart on my windscreenLast Saturday, Kenny and I rolled our Tigers out of the driveway and headed below the Mason-Dixon line without much of a plan.

We had 2 definite items on the plate: I wanted to visit Helen, Georgia to see what that was about and we had to be in West Virginia by the following Thursday afternoon to meet up with friends. They were coming in from Indiana, New York and Pennsylvania to meet up with us for a long weekend of sizzling backroad riding.

That left us 6 days to wander on our own. And it was… spectacular.

There are lots of moments and pictures to go through. In the meantime some basic trip stats until the posts get rolling.

9 days of glorious riding. I am looking forward to more post on the vacation.

And you fell in love with 2 donkeys? Well, better a donkey than a jackass, lol. 🙂

Bummed I couldn’t make the trip. Did Ryan not make it either?

Ryan had to bail at the last minute. No one to watch the kidlets 🙁

You’ll have to get on board for the next go-round, though. The roads kicked ass and we missed you!

    Yay!
I can’t wait to hear about your trip.
I’ve been back for 2 weeks and haven’t made the time to get my trip report up on my site… but I can’t let you beat me [;)], so I guess I’ve got a fire lit, so to speak.

Incredible trip! Welcome back and thanks for posting along the way.

  5. Looking forward to the report. At least you got out of here before the heat kicked in. Yesterday was just gross.
