Have I Told You Lately…?

  • That the motorcycle has the uncanny ability to make the concerns of the day fade away?
  • That I feel like anything is possible when I am riding?
  • That I do all of my best thinking in the saddle?
  • That each time I ride my bike I wonder why I don’t ride it more often than I do?
  • That every ride I take results in some grand plan scheme for a huge trip I’d like to take?

…that I love riding motorcycles with my friends?

Gee, and here i was thinking I had something wrong with me thinking like that….. 🙂

    Inspiring words yet again!

  3. Weird… and I was thinking I was uniquely similar to you. Must be the universal motorcycle mentality…

I think 2012 HAS to be the year that we finally meet in person. Did I tell you I now live less than an hour from the Thornton Gap entrance to Skyline Drive? 🙂

I second all of those sage thoughts.

And, btw, you really should meet Kathy. You’ll like her even more than you think you do now. She’s very nice and very tall!

I have been riding on the back of my husbands motorcycle for 28 years and now I am a relatively new rider and have progressed from a scooter to a motorcycle. I have had so many zen moments in my scooter and motorcycle. I am now wondering why the heck I waited so long to be the one in front driving?! Motorcycling is better than…………(I will let you fill in the blanks)

    Ditto. Really, nothing can compare.

I just came back from New Mexico. Worst winds in my life. Non stop and up to 79 miles per hour – 8 hour riding days. I couldn’t even spit. I didn’t realize how much I liked spitting until I couldn’t.

Just kidding. But it was windy. I truly couldn’t stand next to my bike outside of Carrizozo, NM without being blown over.

WIth all that said, I wouldn’t change a thing. As long as I am on two wheels all is right with the world!

    Fuzzy . . . thanks for a wonderful ode!
