All I want for Christmas

…is my two front teeth squarely kicked out by the delicious ferociousness that is Confederate Motorcycles? Wellllll, no. Not really. But, no doubt it looks like their new offering the C120 Renaissance Fighter just might be up for that task.

Confederate is offering their new toy through the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book. Go where the money is, I guess.

I think their bikes are a visual dance of post-apocalyptic beauty. Clearly not a sentiment shared by all.

Thoughts?

I appreciate the “mechanicalness” of this monster and I would own one if I had a bazillion dollars. But it would make a lousy daily driver, especially with that seat. I guess I’ll keep my Speed Triple.

Why, if it’s good enough for Brad Pitt…

Well… you can imagine how comfortable that seat would be on a 600 mile day… I think maybe I’ll just swipe the Axis rotors off the front end. :)

In a lot of ways, it fits my industrial aesthetic…but somehow they got it…well, not so much wrong as not quite right. I like a lot of the intdividual elements but the Wraith looks more “all of a piece” to me

How about when fuzz buys that thing, I’ll buy the Ecosse Heretic and we can ride our overpriced rides together? Crud may possibly zip by us on his 250.

I don’t know why, but I was compelled to check out the Confederate website….it’s been a while and it seems they have gone and effed up the Wraith since I last saw one. The bars, the exhaust and a bunch of other little details are now quite wrong…Ah well, I wasn’t buying one anyway, I suppose.

HAHA! Sure thing, OG. “wasn’t going to buy one [this year]“
