What’s Left of What’s Left

Not too many motorcycle pictures here lately. Have you noticed? It seems that lately my life has lots of water in it. I guess it comes with the territory of living on an island, big though it is.

Lately when we pop in to Port Jeff to see what’s going on all we seem to find is what’s left of whatever. The motorcycle hangout scene is dead unless you’re a squid on a Busa with an extended swingarm or a weekend pirate on a $40,000 custom. I guess the ebb tide of motorcycle meet ups here locally with the guys who had things to talk about like big rides, trips planned, projects underway is here now. In the meantime i’ll float along and hopefully ride the wave back in when people start coming around again.

Ebb and flow, yeah, that is a great analogy. The core of real riders is still out there, probably just busy doing the things that make big rides and cool projects possible.
